Alma May Brannan of Central Park Lodge passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2000. Alma was born in Dauphin, Manitoba. In her younger years, Alma enjoyed golfing and curling. In her later years she spent many hours knitting. She was a member of the Rebeccas Lodge and Eastern Star. On July 18, 1930 she received the "Recognition of Brave Act" from the Knights of Columbus for saving the life a someone who was drowning. She was very proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed working in accounting at Western Motors, Victoria Motors, Wilton Motors, United Western Printing and the Children's Aid Society. She is survived by her son, Jim (Merna) Brannan and grandchildren, Tricia and Rob, her sister, Bunny (Bob) Cassan all of Brandon. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Wally, her parents Rueben and Annie McLeod, and sister Ruby Bering (John). Flowers are gratefully declined.
