Allen Phillips, loving partner of Suzanne Neufeld, passed away in Douglas, MB on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, doing what he loved, working in his garden.

Born in Brandon, MB on June 9, 1950, Allen was raised in Minto, MB. Allen was a man of many talents and had a variety of jobs over the years. He was an avid reader and spent his teenage years teaching Sunday School. As a high school student, he played both hockey and baseball and gave his time coaching ball for young kids, including a team in Minto

Allen loved to cook and took great joy in preparing meals for family and friends. Nothing pleased him more than seeing people gathered together, enjoying his food. His talents extended to the garden, where he nurtured plants, compost, and even practiced vermicomposting.
Cribbage nights at the Sprucewoods Community Centre were a favorite pastime, where he shared laughter and friendly rivalry with his best friend, Jim Farthing and fellow card players.

He was predeceased by his parents Alexander & Blanche Phillips; and sister Jackie Phillips.

Allen will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Suzanne Neufeld; daughter Tara Shazad; stepchildren Ariel Neufeld, Janelle Neufeld & Steven Neufeld; brother Nelson Phillips; nephew Jody Phillips.

The family will cherish his memory privately.
