The Ceremony to Celebrate Allan's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Monday, May 29, 2006 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Dr. Dale Woods of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. ROBINSON: The death of Allan Cuthbert Robinson, beloved husband of Grace and dear father of Cheryl and Jamie, occurred at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg on Tuesday, May 23, 2006. Allan was born on the family farm at Hartney on June 21, 1924, son of Bert and Anna Robinson. He grew up on the farm, receiving his education in a one room school house at Whitewater School. In July 1953, he met Grace Taylor of Regina at Clear Lake and they were married on February 27, 1954 in Regina, SK. Allan and Grace farmed for many years until 1987 when they retired and moved to Brandon. Allan spent his winter months making cement lawn ornaments. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks #357 of Hartney, Manitoba. Allan and Grace enjoyed some winters in Arizona as well as many years of summer camping. Allan is survived by his best friend and loving wife of fifty-two years, Grace. They raised two children, Cheryl (Rick) Feasby and Jamie Robinson (friend Sandra). He leaves grandchildren, Tim, Kristin and Amy Feasby, Nicole and Andrew Robinson. He is also survived by; sister-in-law, Shirley Ciz and nieces, Lisa Ciz and Leslie Ciz and husband Garth Fredrickson and their son Cole. Mr. Robinson was predeceased by; an infant son in 1955, his parents, Bert and Anna, a brother Clare and sister, Alma Riach and by his parents-in-law, Jim and Tillie Taylor.
