NOTO: Alice Mabel Noto peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Valleyview Care Centre. The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North. Pastor Ted Jannuska of Redeemer Lutheran Church will officiate. A private family interment will be held in the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. NOTO: Alice Mabel Noto peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Valleyview Care Centre. Alice was born at Strathclair, Manitoba on January 13, 1923. She was a hardworking and loving mother. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alice's home was her castle and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her riches. Her greatest passion was to cook; everything "tasted better at Grandma's house". Her great love and compassion for animals was always evident. Alice will always be remembered for her singing and quick wit. "She was our Angel and now she is with the Angels". Alice will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Garry (Deb) Noto, Ken (Maizie) Noto, Don (Dianne) Noto, and Brian (Linda) Noto; daughter Linda Judd; sister Eileen Doyle; sister-in-law Lil Anderson; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Nils Noto; brother Ed Anderson; sisters Mildred Bourgeois and Margaret Anderson. The Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Memories Chapel.
