Obituary

HAGGERTY: Alice Maude "Betty" Court-Haggerty passed away at her residence, Fairview Home, on July 11, 1999 at the age of 70 years. Betty was born in Brandon, Manitoba on December 1, 1928. She received her schooling at Fleming School and then Earl Oxford. Betty's years of employment included working at the Bus Depot, McKenzie Seeds, the Cecil Hotel and devoting herself to her children and grandchildren. Over the years, Betty belonged to A.C.W. in Rivers, Block Parent, and was actively involved with all her children's activities. She felt that her biggest achievement was raising her daughters and enjoying her grandchildren. Betty will be sadly missed by her daughters, Linda (Michel) Lauze and Patricia (Ted) Stouffer; and grandchildren: Chantal (Cory), Natalie, Benjamin, Stephanie, and Steven. Also surviving are sisters, Pat Court and Florence (Clarence) Lacquement and their daughter, Sandy. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Alice Court. The ceremony to celebrate Betty's Life will be held at Memories Chapel on Wednesday, July 14, 1999 at 10:30 am. Rev. Garry MacDowall will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Friends, who so wish, may make donations in memory of Betty to the Betty Haggerty Memorial Donation Account, c/o Fairview Home, 1351 - 13th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 4S6. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
