The death of Alice Mildred Douglas of Brandon occurred Saturday, January 28, 2006 in the city. Funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 339 12th Street on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. The Rev. Dr. Dale Woods will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. DOUGLAS: Alice Mildred Douglas passed away peacefully after a short illness on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre with her family by her side. "May she dwell in the house of the Lord forever". Alice was born in Limavady, Co, Londonderry, Northern Ireland on March 22, 1918. She emigrated to Canada with her son James and family in 1994 and lived with them on the farm. Alice was a prominent part of the family's life, much loved and will be sadly missed by: her daughter, May (John) Quigg of Ireland; son, James (Eileen) Douglas of Brandon; grandchildren, Deborah (Michael), Julie, Richard (Brenda), Paul (Sharon) of Ireland; Mark (Cavell), Cheryl (fiancT Joey) of Brandon; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Conor, Colin, Caoimhe, Gareth, Chelcey and Adam of Ireland and Bonnie, David, Laura and Stephen of Brandon.
