Alexander "Alex" Raymond Vennard
1952 - 2001

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our son, father, brother and friend on Saturday, November 17, 2001 at Surrey, British Columbia. Known to a lot of people as "Big Al" he will be sadly missed by his sons, AJ and Jeremy, mother and step-father, Erna and Tom; sisters, Doris (Mike); Maxine (Tim); nephews, Scott and Curtis; Tyler and niece Taya; special friend George-ann as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his father, Raymond and all maternal and paternal grandparents. Alex was employed by Poulins Exterminators out of Winnipeg for 26 years. In April of 2001 he decided to try life on the west coast where he always loved to be. He was employed until his death with Canadian Pest Control. Alex was a kind man who always loved a good joke and had a contagious laugh. He enjoyed time spent with his boys as well as the challenges of his job. The Funeral Ceremony was held at Memories Chapel on Saturday, November 24, 2001. Interment followed at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined.
