Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Adrienne Lorraine Iwasiuk (nee Marion) on Sunday, December 24, 2023, in Brandon, Manitoba.

Adrienne Lorraine Iwasiuk (nee Marion) was born on January 11, 1936, in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. Through her working years she held jobs such as a gas station attendant (Kenora, Ont.) nurse's assistant (Winnipeg), salesclerk, and helped dad work the phones at Town & Country Sales (Brandon). Adrienne was a homemaker who raised four kids and once her kids were independent, she served as a nanny for a few other families in the Brandon area.

In her earlier years she enjoyed playing guitar and singing in bands. She would continue to dabble in music throughout her life. She also enjoyed cooking (especially making deserts and perogies), gardening, playing bingo and various card games. But most of all she took pride in supporting her grandchildren with their various sports activities by attending as many of their games as she could.

She is survived by sons Mitchell (Kim), Frank (Gerri), daughter Brenda Gloeden (Kim), Seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Bill William, son Billy, mother Melanie Marion, father George Marion, brothers William, Napoleon (Lynn), Edmund (Ruth), and Nelson (Alice), sisters Mary (Barney) and Armanne.

A Funeral service will be held for Bill and Adrienne in the spring of 2024 at the Columbarium in Minnedosa. Mom and Dad always wanted to be put to rest overlooking the beautiful valley near Minnedosa, Manitoba.
