PSHYK: It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Adolph Pshyk of Rivers, Manitoba at the
Riverdale Hospital on October 1, 1999. Adolph was born on November 17, 1920 in Hubbard, Saskatchewan. He moved to Rivers in 1953. Adolph leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years, Nellie; daughters: Irene (Pete), Margaret (Ron), Josephine; and son, Gregory (Sandy). Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Prayers will be said at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, Brandon, Manitoba, on Tuesday, October 5, 1999 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, on Wednesday, October 6, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk will officiate assisted by cantor, Mr. Peter Romanik. Pallbearers will be Bill Citulsky, Philip Sworyk, Peter Citulsky, Romain Chubak, Mike Maloney, and Steve Manuluik. Cross bearer will be Michael Seens. Interment will follow in the Rivers Cemetery, Rivers, Manitoba. Flowers are gratefully declined.
