Obituary

Ada Kathleen "Kay" Barlow, widow of Fletcher Barlow, passed away at her residence, Dinsdale Home, on Wednesday, August 13, 2003. Kay was born in Huddersfiled, York, England on February 21, 1909, daughter of Harold and Clara Kenyon. At an early age, the family moved to the Bridgeford, Saskatchewan area. Kay received her education there and after taking teachers training taught school. She taught school until a short time following her marriage to Fletcher Barlow in 1939. They farmed at Elbow, SK and then in 1945 moved to a farm in the Moore Park district. They farmed there until Fletcher's death in 1986. Kay was also predeceased by, a brother, Ron Kenyon. She leaves her children: daughter Marcia (Doug) Hume and son, Ken (Joyce) Barlow; grandchildren, Jason (Dianne) Hume, Kevin (Shelley) Hume, Veronica Barlow (Sean Hunt), Norine Barlow and Crystal (Jim) Wiancko. There are two great grandsons, Austin and Riley. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Monday, August 18, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Capt. Sherri Williams of Dinsdale Home will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Kay to a charity of their choice.
