KEHLER: It is with great sadness that the family of Abe Kehler, former owner of Active Muffler and Brake Centres, announce his passing on Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Assiniboine Centre. Abe was predeceased by his wife Bev in 2008 and son Lane in 2007. Abe is survived by his son Jarett, wife Cindy; their children Jordyn, Kiana, Teran, Mackenzie, Maya and Emily; son Lane's daughters Tiffany, Brooklyn, Kristy and their mother Tammy. The second youngest child of Philip and Justina Kehler, Abe's siblings include Helen (Abraham) Braun, Tina (Jacob) Giesbrecht, Peter (Mika) Kehler, Mary (John) Neufeld, Jacob, John (Trudy), Bernie (Anna), Eva (Henry) Schroeder, Erna (Ed) Schroeder and Helmut (Maureen) although some have passed away. The Ceremony to Celebrate Abe's Life will be held at Richmond Park Mennonite Brethren Church, 1525 - 26th Street, on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Dwayne Dyck will officiate. Interment will follow at Baldur Cemetery. Donations in memory of Abe may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
