Marion Joyce Ewasiuk, widow of the late Peter Ewasiuk, passed away peacefully at her residence, Fairview Home, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Born at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 25, 1931, Marion lived in Rivers, later moving to Brandon. Marion married the love of her life Peter. They shared 55 wonderful years together, raising three children Terry, Heather (Kevin) and Michael (Christine); grandchildren Anson, Erica, Trevor, Lance, Derek and Jessica and great-grandchildren Tyarra, Jadden, Ethan and Austin. Marion was predeceased by her parents Ellen and John Melinchuck, Auntie Minnie Forman and cousin Barry Forman. Marion is survived by two brothers Edward Melinchuk (Faye), Larry Melinchuk, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. And also will be missed by dogs "Toro" and "Reno". The Ceremony to Celebrate Marion's Life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk officiating. Cantor will be Stella Fedeniuk. Interment will follow at the Veterans' Section of the Brandon Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. Egan, nurses and staff at Fairview who provided care over the years. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Marion may be made to a charity of choice.
